Asiento, the Spanish word for “seat,” is a neighborhood bar welcoming Mission residents and faraway friends alike to sit back, relax, and enjoy delicious drinks and tapas together. Warm and cozy, our atmosphere is the perfect spot for spending an evening with friends. Though we’re known for our amazing plates and craft cocktails, we like to think entertaining is a specialty of ours, too. With weekly events like trivia night, live bands on Thursdays, and weekend DJs, we know how to show our guests a good time. When you spend an evening eating, drinking, and maybe even taking a swing at a couple of board games with us, you’ll feel like family before you know it.

Our Story
We opened in 2010 to offer a convenient space for groups to gather together without minimums or fees. Our place quickly became a sought-after location for local DJs and aspiring DJs to hone their skills.
Since our inception, we have become a staple in the communities we serve, thanks to the events we organize. We also participated in the SF New Deal food program to aid local businesses and the homeless population during the pandemic.
